"For the first time ever Latin music fans will be able to experience the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina everywhere, from the radio, live video stream and broadcast television," said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises and Producer for iHeartMedia, as quoted by the news outlet. "The fans demanded it, so we have made the show available virtually everywhere they turn."
The upcoming event will also broadcast via live stream on Yahoo Live and on iHeartMedia Spanish-Pop, Tropical, regional Mexican, and Spanish Adult Hit radio stations across the U.S., Billboard noted. Interested concertgoers can purchase on-sale tickets on Aug. 22.
"The response to last year's first-ever iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina from artists, critics, and, most importantly, listeners was absolutely amazing," Sykes continued, as reported by iHeartMedia's site. "We're thrilled to move the celebration to Miami this year and excited to share what promises to be one of Latin music's biggest nights with Telemundo viewers."
Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms and Producer for iHeartMedia, said that the mass media company is dedicated to bringing historical music events that feature "massive A-level lineups and never-before-seen collaborations," Billboard added. The exec guarantees concertgoers that the event will be an "unforgettable night."
"Only a company like iHeartMedia, which reaches more Latinos in the U.S. than any other media company, could bring together such a wide variety of Latin music genres for a night of unforgettable performances. And this year's event will be even more exciting," Poleman added, as quoted by iHeartMedia's site.
The concert will come two months after September's iHeartRadio Music Festival to be held in Las Vegas, U.S. News & World Report noted from The Associated Press. Next month's iHeartRadio musical event will feature Sam Smith, Kanye West, Janet Jackson, The Who, Lil Wayne, Coldplay, The Weeknd, and Blake Shelton.
